                                            Environmental Thinking in VET
                                                   Project number:
                                          2021-2-PL01-KA220-VET-000050783

courses, traineeships, job-shadowing, visits; development of teaching tools and methods,
experimentation of successful methodologies and practices, etc). According to the comments
of the interviewed, the implementation of these approaches and tools offered several benefits:
they enhanced student’s engagement and motivation by providing interactive and personalized
learning experiences; they facilitated the development of essential skills, including both
technical and soft skills, through practical, real-world applications; they contributed to the
modernisation and internationalisation of the VET schools, allowing dialogue and cooperation
with similar organisations at European level; they fostered a supportive learning environment
that adapts to individual needs, promoting higher retention and success rates.

The two teachers that answered that they didn’t experimented any innovative practices, said
the motivation was: in one case, that the institution they work for didn’t propose them any
experimentation, in the other that it was proposed, but the respondent didn’t took part in it
because he thought it was too challenging and difficult for him.
All the 10 interviewed stated they are inclined to experiment any other new tool and method
useful to improve approaches and tools regarding teaching, motivation, guidance, but it is
essential that, in implementing such initiatives, they are provided with the necessary support,
assistance and time. They shown interest towards the tool and products produced by the
project MET-VET and said that they would adopt them in their learning environments.
The two Managers of VET organisations declared that they implemented autonomously
initiatives to experiment new practices and tools but they were not part of a long-term and
structured strategy and they are conscious that systematisation and long-term plans are
                needed. W4wa
