encompasses various forms, including vocational training, loans for financing training costs, training
vouchers, vocational practice vouchers, scholarships for youth from low-income families, and financial
assistance for examination and vocational license fees. Additionally, statutory training leave is
provided for employees to undertake further training or education, enhancing their skills and
qualifications.
The Labour Fund plays a crucial role in providing state support for vocational education and training
initiatives. It allocates resources for individual and group training programs conducted through Labour
Offices (Urząd Pracy), primarily targeting unemployed individuals. These training programs cover a
wide range of fields and are designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and competencies
demanded by the job market.
Furthermore, Vocational Training Funds are available to employers to support the training of their
employees. Employers can receive refunds for a portion of the training costs incurred, with specific
conditions and limitations outlined based on the age of participants and the nature of the training.
Additionally, support for apprenticeships organized within companies has been expanded to include
all unemployed individuals, fostering greater access to practical training opportunities.
Overall, these regional and national initiatives, along with the support provided by the Labour Fund
and other funding mechanisms, contribute to the holistic development of individuals, the
enhancement of workforce skills, and the alignment of education with the evolving needs of the labour
market in Poland.
In Spain, the integration of new teaching, motivation, orientation, and awareness tools in schools,
particularly in vocational education and training (VET) institutions, is supported by a comprehensive
framework of national initiatives and financial instruments. These efforts are aligned with the
European Union's broader educational and developmental policies, aiming to foster educational
innovation and meet the evolving needs of the labour market and society.
A key initiative in Spain is the National Plan for Digital Skills (Plan Nacional de Competencias Digitales),
which aims to enhance digital literacy across the population, including students and teachers in VET
institutions. This plan emphasizes the importance of integrating digital tools into the educational
process to prepare learners for the demands of a digital economy. It includes specific measures for
teacher training, focusing on continuous professional development to enhance digital literacy and
pedagogical skills, and investments in technological infrastructure, equipping schools with high-speed
internet, interactive whiteboards, and digital devices. This infrastructure is crucial for creating a
conducive learning environment that leverages technology for educational purposes.
The Strategic Plan for VET (Plan Estratégico de la Formación Profesional) is another significant
framework seeking to modernize VET through various means, including the integration of digital
technologies and innovative teaching methodologies. It focuses on updating VET curricula to include
digital competencies and green skills, ensuring that students are prepared for future job markets.
Additionally, it provides resources and training for VET educators to implement new technologies and
teaching strategies effectively. One of the major financial instruments supporting these initiatives is
the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y
Resiliencia), funded by the European Union. This plan allocates substantial investments to modernize
educational infrastructure, enhance digital competencies, and promote sustainable practices in
schools. Key areas of focus include digital transformation, funding projects that aim to integrate digital
tools and resources into the educational process, and supporting initiatives that incorporate
environmental education and sustainability practices within the VET framework.
The ProFuturo Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting the integration of digital education in
Spain. This foundation focuses on reducing the digital divide by providing technology and training to
